Carismático is my Tango Band. In 2016 I was contacted by Argentinian Composer and Pianist, Saul Cosentino, who very generously sent me some of his music to play. I was so enthused I decided to form my own Tango Band, something I'd always wanted to do. I have brought together some fantastic British musicians to play with me and together we have recorded three of Cosentino's tunes as well as one by Astor Piazzolla and a new composition of mine, all of which gives you a flavour of the music we are exploring. For more information on the band and to hear us play click the photo below.

Another ongoing project is Streetworks, a quartet of the most talented musicians, featuring Me on accordion, the inventive guitarist Mike Outram, Will Harris who is fast becoming the South West’s most in-demand bassist and honey-toned saxophonist Andy Tweed. We mainly perform my melodic and sometimes quirky original compositions and arrangements. Click here to find out more.

Karen has been involved in Mike Westbrook projects beginning originally with Big Band Rossini.
